DO I DESERVE THIS?

My heart is slimmer and skinny Sliced in silence!

It's peeping and weeping deeping it's jaws

Into the earthen cave as it craves for its roots!

It's shading tears amidst fear

On seeing it's inhabitants tear

The rules of nature to hold dear!

I see humanbeings but no humanity

I see generous but no generosity

I see grace but for me with grace!

The drum of humanity beats no longer

The song of brotherhood has lost its hunger

And the dance of the people weeps with thunder

But why?

My heart, my pride and my wonder?

Have you forsaken all that once you held dear?

Turn from your fate and what you hold most near?

Now the land weeps and her tears are a cascade of shame

You've turned from our fate and forsaken my good name.

I give you life sustenance and provides for your needs

But you stab me back and let me bleed!

Do I really deserve this?
