NO MORE GROANS
No groans, no wails, my sighs!
Wait! I, said, wait!
Hadn't we been told?
They said it all,
We saw it all.
Like Abraham's hard lamb,
They were.
They've dressed it as a profession
Stretching out like an infection
That deserves a prescription
Without medication
And termed it as Corruption.
No groans, no wails, my sighs!
I remember my duty-
Fighting on the side of light.
Mission-focused and heart-open to retell the tales
Of malicious cancer whose spell is cast to the
Fourth coming generation like it was in the past!
No groans, no wails, my sighs!
We hardly raise our voice
We hardly see the bright side of the moon
Nothing is free and fair in politics
Haven't we been told how students get first class
Degrees without attending any lecture?
Haven't we been told how Joseph's dad died because
He didn't have an accompaniment to please
The doctor?
We have no choice
You and I
But oh!! No! We still have a voice
No groans, no wails, my sighs!
We were with hope,
That one day.
We stood our heads high
And that started in 1971
Last like eight years
Change they called it;
Still on the twenty-sixth of January
There, about thirty-six years ago
They still called it to change...
Any way
The first day I saw
The two Cars
They had the same color.
No groans, no wails, my sighs!
The silence that echoes in my heart
Remained a war against the infection!
The infection...
That is a threat to development,
Peace, equality, and equity.
